January 2012 – NHS Framework position for Whitehead
West and East Wales healthcare projects
Whitehead has been appointed to the new Designed for Life regional framework, by the NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, on account of its experience and expertise providing building services for the healthcare sector (including hospitals). For the next four years, the framework will govern the procurement of all NHS projects with a capital value between £4m and £10m, and Whitehead was selected following an intensive six month pre-qualification and selection process in competition with a number of leading national companies.
Whitehead is part of the Kier bid team and will provide the mechanical and electrical building services for NHS projects within the West and East Wales Regions.
