Improving the learning experience of students within the community

The Haverfordwest High VC School project comprised of a new secondary school and sports facilities. It accommodates 1500 students aged between 11-16 as well as 250 sixth form students.

Rated as BREEAM Excellent, the completed building had to achieve the highest standards in sustainability categories such as Health & Wellbeing, Energy and Water. This meant the design specified the installation of next generation green technologies – in which we had plenty of experience.

The total project value was around £49m – an exceptionally worthwhile investment in the education of local children.
