This year (2024) we celebrate 15 years of Whitehead in Bristol!

A recent project in Bristol was the Fairfax in Bristol: a project involving the refurbishment of a 1960’s era 14-storey office building – split into a 4-floor podium with an 11-storey tower.

The Fairfax was built and designed to meet the needs of modern business tenants, providing a sleek modern aesthetic with facilities designed to cater for modern lifestyles including fitness spaces and secure cycle parking alongside high quality shower, locker and changing facilities.

Team Whitehead worked with main contractor FSL Group and provided all the MEP services to the refurbishment including lighting, heating,energy consumption sensors and alarm systems. As a business who place a huge emphasis on helping others achieve net zero, we install energy efficient systems – and Fairfax has an EPC “A” rating as one of the many sustainable features of the project.

Bristol is a great place to work and I have been lucky enough to be involved with some fantastic projects during my time with Whitehead. We are looking forward to some even more exciting times ahead and growing the business even further.
