Tiny Rebel are the youngest and only Welsh brewery to win Champion beer of Britain;  the only brewery to have won gold, silver and bronze in the Champion Beer of Wales competition (in their first year) and the only brewery to defend a gold the following year.

Tiny Rebel are also SIBA Brewery Business of the Year and International Beer Challenge UK Brewer of the Year 2016.

Tiny Rebel Brewery bar opened for brewing in January 2017, and officially opened the new brewery in July.

The dual stream, 30bbl brewhouse gives Tiny Rebel a maximum capacity of 5million litres annually. They invested heavily in packaging, with a new cask racker, German kegging machine and Italian bottling line. For the first time ever, they also canned their beers, bringing an American canning line in-house.

Whitehead provided a full, turnkey package of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) Engineering Services to the entire building, including the bar, brewery and administrative offices.  The building serves as Tiny Rebel’s headquarters and our office fit-out provided a bright and modern workspace for creative ideas to flow.  Specialist services such as steam generation and clean compressed air were provided to the brewery process spaces to enable Tiny Rebel’s award-winning brews to be created.

Whitehead also provided specialist refrigerated cold storage to ensure the beer reaches the customer as fresh as the day it was brewed.  On the customer side, Whitehead provided MEP services to make sure the bar area remains a friendly, comfortable and relaxing space in which to enjoy the outstanding beer.

A full commercial kitchen fit-out means that Tiny Rebel can serve up some of the best food around and we’d definitely recommend the burgers, and the Sunday roasts!
