How to apply

We accept direct applications via careers@whiteheadbs.co.uk  and we also work with a range of apprenticeship providers, enabling us to source a talented workforce in our projects across South Wales and the South West.

JTL is one such provider, with whom we have a long standing relationship. JTL currently trains around 8000 apprentices across England and Wales, upskilling the electrical engineering workforce around the UK. We work with JTL on trade apprenticeships (equivalent to NVQ Level 3) which enable future engineers to enter the workforce via an apprenticeship route instead of going to University. The apprenticeships themselves can open doors to further education, as well as “professional” apprenticeships such as the Project Management top-up offered by Whitehead to select engineers upon completion of their apprenticeship.

In addition, here at Whitehead we also work with the University of South Wales via Network75, for a different route into the industry and a different type of apprenticeship.

This degree level apprenticeship is a combined work placement and part-time study route to a degree, allowing students to work, earn and learn. Network75 students exit their course with up to a BEng degree and significant work experience across a whole host of different projects and sectors.
