WE WON!!
Last month, Whitehead Building Services was honoured to win Corporate Fundraiser of the Year at the Prostate Cymru awards dinner. Here at Whitehead, we are so proud to be supporters of this worthy charity and very honoured that our efforts have been recognised in this way.
We’ve been supporting the charity for over 10 years with various events and initiatives, but during 2023 we really wanted to recognise the fundraising our friend, Tim Driscoll, had tirelessly achieved for the charity over the past few years and, in Tim’s memory, we held a golf day and raffle for Prostate Cymru. We also fundraised via the 54321Cymru Cycling Challenge in Majorca, and held a further raffle at Christmas. You can keep an eye on our social channels for our future fundraiser information.
We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Prostate Cymru, and to all the other nominees in the awards ceremony – as we were up against stiff competition in our category, from the likes of Heatforce and Ffos Las Racecourse, amongst others.
This month (March) marks Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, and so it feels like a particularly important time to recognise the work that this, and other charities do to support this.

Fundraising is a big part of who we are as a business, as we feel it’s an important part of our ethical and social responsibilities, here at Whitehead Building Services.
