With the help of our amazing employees and supply chain, we’ve raised over £1100 to support those in need this Christmas – as well as an extraordinary number of donations including over 800 selection boxes, Christmas treats, supplies and even vouchers.
The selection boxes have been delivered to Carolyn Harris’ #everyonedeservesaChristmas, Newport social services for children in care, Sparkle, St Joseph’s Primary School, Tiny Rebel’s Community Christmas Dinner project, Llamau, and St David’s Hospice meaning so many children in need will receive a well-deserved gift this year.

As well as the selection boxes, we have coordinated donations of gifts to our head office as well as donations on line which we’ve used to purchase gifts. These have all gone to Home Instead for their “Santa to a Senior” project – where the elderly who are in hospital over Christmas get a hand delivered gift – by an Elvis impersonator!
“ Working with and for our communities is at the heart of what we do here at Whitehead” commented Hayley Morton, Conscience Coordinator at Whitehead. “And there’s no better time than at Christmas, to bring people together for the greater good – we’re so grateful to those who have helped us to help others” added Hayley, who also took part in the Llamau great Christmas wrapping event in Cardiff last week.
