Whitehead were a key sponsor of the “Be Heart Happy” launch event last week.
Be Heart Happy is the new name of the Royal Gwent Hospital & St Woolos Hospital Cardiology Fund, and the charity held their launch event on Thursday 18th January at the Mercure Hotel in Newport.
Be Heart Happy provides a vital service, working with supporters, such as Whitehead, to bring the quality care patients deserve and the field-leading training and equipment that NHS staff require. Their aim is to keep delivering the best possible cardiac facilities across several hospitals now including the Grange in Cwmbran
The launch event was well attended, including by our local Sennedd members Jayne Bryant MS and John Griffiths MS as well as Whitehead representatives Nigel Williams , Shaun Johnson and Mike Tasker, who is also Trustee of the charity
“It’s part of our vision to support our local communities in as many ways as we can” commented Rhys Morton, MD for Whitehead.
“I’m really pleased we’ve had the opportunity to be a part of such a worthwhile event, and would like to extend a huge thank you to those on my team who were part of Thursday’s launch”.
